About the Founder

RICHARD M. CABALLERO

Richard M. Caballero is a Filipino-Canadian executive with an extensive background in leading global technology companies and award-winning multinational teams in over 50+ countries and 6 continents. Born in the Philippines, he has lived and worked internationally in North America (Toronto, Canada), Asia (Hong Kong/Manila) and Europe (Germany).

Richard has over 25+ years’ experience in international Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management and Business Development working for top global technology companies including Hewlett Packard, Corel, Ingram Micro, Aimetis and Digifort. He worked at HP for 13+ years originally in Canada with overseas assignments in Europe (Germany) and Asia Pacific (Hong Kong). At HP Asia Pacific, he was selected to its prestigious LEAD program, HP’s premier leadership program for its top high potential employees worldwide.

At Ingram Micro, he pioneered and led their Canadian Managed Services Division, leading two different marketing and sales teams to win back-to-back Encore Award. This is awarded by this Fortune 100 company to its top contributor each year, culminating to Richard receiving the Global Award of Excellence, the highest individual company award.

As the Global Vice President of Sales for a Canadian security software company, he led his team to one of Deloitte and Touche’s Top 50 fastest growing companies in Canada and Top 500 fastest growing companies in North America, leading a multinational global sales and marketing team from Brazil, France, UK, India, UAE, Germany, China, Singapore and USA.

Richard is a leadership practitioner with a passion for developing, nurturing and leading high-performance global teams. He founded the Geese Project to share his experience and knowledge to the next generation of Filipino leaders, so that they can accelerate their leadership journey to become global leaders. Richard is also an entrepreneur and has founded start-ups both in Canada and the Philippines, assuming the role of CEO/President in 4 different companies.

He completed his Bachelor of Commerce at York University in Toronto and finished his MBA at the Rotman School of Management – University of Toronto, where he received the Dean’s Merit Award and scholarship.

Danny Cushing is a leadership development facilitator and executive coach with over 20 years’ experience coaching and conducting leadership development programs for senior leaders in the U.S., Canada, South America, Asia, and Europe, in a wide range of sectors – including business, government and NGOs.

Recent clients include: IKEA, Accenture, McKinsey Learning Academy, Virox Technologies, PwC, and Department of National Defense Canada.

Danny’s coaching and leadership development practice is focused on developing the emotional and social intelligence of leaders. He supports leaders on their journey to be more effective in guiding high-performing teams that deliver powerful results, while also taking care of themselves and their people.

Prior to his role as an executive coach and leadership facilitator, Danny held senior management roles in marketing, project management and business development.

Danny is a graduate of the Rotman Executive MBA Program, University of Toronto. He also has more than 20 years’ experience chairing boards in various sectors, including education, the arts and mental health. Danny lives in Toronto, Canada, with his wife Karie Richards, a theatre performer and playwright.

As President and COO , established Avanza Philippines as one of the top crm and loyalty marketing company in the marketing industry in the Philippines as well as in the global loyalty industry. Evidenced by being the first Asia-Pacific winner to win for its client Banco de Oro in the 2012 Colloquy Innovation in Financial Services composed of over 40,000 loyalty practitioner worldwide and the 2015 PANA (Philippine Advertising National Association) Gold Winner for Marketing Effectiveness Award.

Established as an expert in CRM and LOYALTY, and has been invited as a resource speaker in the Philippine Marketing Association National Marketing Conference and other PMA events for students and professionals, Bank Marketing Association, Digital Club, Loyalty Conferences, and many others..

Extensive exposure in various industries such as retail, consumer goods, banking, and institutional products with companies like Pfizer, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, Citibank, Globe Corporate, Kraft, Roche, Unilever, Shell, Nestle, Chevron, Coke, Malayan Insurance, WWF, Mondelez, Brother Printer International, Unilab, and many others.

Dr. Chib's career reflects an impressive journey as a seasoned Capital Markets professional with 28 years of international experience in leading banks across Hong Kong, New York, and Toronto. Currently holding the role of Asia CAO - Financial Institutions Sales & Solutions at Citi, based in Hong Kong, he continues to make significant contributions to the financial sector.

Beyond his accomplishments in banking, Dr. Chib is driven by a passion for education, particularly in the areas of Organizational Leadership, Environment, Social Responsibility, and Governance (ESG), as well as International Business.

His commitment to teaching extends to several esteemed institutions. As an Adjunct Professor at City University of Hong Kong, he imparts knowledge on Leadership at the graduate level, with a focus on Authentic Leadership, leading in adverse situations, and personal branding. Additionally, he serves as a Senior Lecturer at Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, where he educates graduate students on International Business.

His commitment to teaching extends to several esteemed institutions. As an Adjunct Professor at City University of Hong Kong, he imparts knowledge on Leadership at the graduate level, with a focus on Authentic Leadership, leading in adverse situations, and personal branding. Dr. Chib's impressive academic background adds depth to his expertise. He earned his Doctorate degree in Business Administration in October 2020 from City University of Hong Kong, specializing in Organizational Behavior and Leadership, with a focus on the new generation within Financial Services. Prior to this, he completed his MBA (Executive MBA) and earned a BSc. in Quantitative Economics (with honors) from the University of Toronto.

Overall, Dr. Chib's vast experience, coupled with his commitment to education and mentorship, reflects a well-rounded and accomplished professional who continues to make a significant impact in the world of Capital Markets and beyond.
