Geese Mentality Leadership Workshops

Transforming Filipinos From the Crab Mentality to the Geese Mentality

NOVEMBER 20, 2024

“Leadership is not about being the best, but about bringing the best out of the people around you.”

The Geese Mentality Workshop is a workshop designed to enhance leadership effectiveness through deep self-awareness and understanding of one’s own cultural legacies. In today’s global business environment, effective leadership transcends beyond traditional skills, requiring a profound understanding of diverse cultural influences that shape and impacts our behaviors and decision-making processes as Filipino leaders.

What is the “Geese Mentality”?

The natural flying behaviors of the Canadian Geese serves as a powerful metaphor for effective team management and leadership, emphasizing collaboration, shared responsibility, mutual support, and the importance of positive encouragement within a group. It is only by adopting the Geese Mentality and transitioning from the traditional Crab Mentality, can Filipinos overcome the ‘leadership skills gap” and harness their full potential as world-class leaders.
