Manifesto

We believe the future of the Philippines will be built by leaders — not by spectators.

We believe every Filipino is born with the potential to soar beyond circumstance.

We choose courage over comfort, excellence over mediocrity, and purpose over personal gain. We will think globally, act ethically, and lead with compassion.

We will lift others as we climb, because leadership is measured not by how many people follow us, but by how many leaders we create. We will embrace innovation without losing our humanity, using technology to elevate people, not replace them.

We will lead with integrity, choosing what is right over what is easy, even when no one is watching.

We will bring the best version of ourselves each time because our nation deserves nothing less than our very best. We will pay forward what we learn, investing in others so that every generation of Filipino leaders will soar higher than the one before it.

We will stand together like geese in flight — sharing the lead, supporting one another, and never leaving anyone behind.

We believe the Philippines is not destined to follow. We are destined to lead.

Together, we will rise. Together, we will soar. Together, we will build the nation our children deserve.

We are the Geese Project. And our journey starts now.

Our Evolution

From Vision to Global Platform

The Geese Project started as a way to develop the next generation of global Filipino leaders. It's grown into something more specific: a leadership platform built on a claim most frameworks don't make — that Filipino culture isn't something to overcome on the way to global leadership. It's the foundation for it.

Technology will continue to automate tasks. It will not automate leadership.

The traits that matter now — resilience, relationship-building, adaptability, service — aren't things Filipino leaders need to import. They're things Filipino culture already builds. The Geese Project's role is to help leaders recognize those traits, refine them, and apply them with the same rigor as any global leadership framework.

What is the Geese Mentality?

Watch Richard Caballero, Founder of The Geese Project, explain how the natural flying behaviors of Canadian geese serve as a powerful metaphor for effective team management and leadership.

Our Mission

To Develop AI-Ready Filipino Leaders

To help Filipino leaders recognize the traits they already carry — and lead with them, deliberately, on the global stage.

Our Vision

From Crab to Geese Mentality

A global community of Filipino leaders who transition from Crab Mentality to Geese Mentality — leaders who uplift, collaborate, and lead together in the age of intelligent machines.

Why The Geese Project

Why the Geese Project?

Most leadership development treats culture as background noise — something to work around on the way to "real" leadership skills. The Geese Project starts from the opposite assumption: your cultural traits are the raw material. Here's what that looks like in practice.

Filipino-Centric Design

Built for the Filipino leadership profile from the ground up — not adapted from a foreign framework.

Self-Discovery Focus

Starts with knowing your own traits, not memorizing someone else's leadership model.

Cultural Integration

Blends culture-based approaches with world-class leadership methodologies.

Root-Cause Approach

Works on where leadership traits come from — upbringing, education, environment — not just what to do differently.

Experiential Methodology

Experiential rather than theoretical — practical, hands-on training for real results.

Our Philosophy

"We do not teach leadership in isolation.
We teach leadership in context — cultural, technological, and global."

Prepare for the AI Era

The fastest way to see the Geese Mentality in action is to experience it — book a workshop for yourself or your team.

Founder

Richard M. Caballero

Richard M. Caballero spent over 25 years leading teams across North America and Asia before founding the Geese Project — built on a pattern he kept seeing firsthand: Filipino talent was never the problem. The absence of a leadership framework that started from Filipino strengths, rather than asking leaders to set them aside, was.

His experience in global organizations and entrepreneurial ventures shaped the development of a culture-based leadership framework designed for long-term transformation rather than short-term training.

Filipino-Canadian executive with extensive background leading global technology companies and award-winning multinational teams in 50+ countries and 6 continents. Career includes leadership roles at Hewlett Packard, Corel, Ingram Micro, Aimetis and Digifort.
